PARK VIEW COMMUNITY SCHOOL
The Anti-Bullying Service (ABS) within the School
The Anti-Bullying Co-ordinator for Park View Community School is Mrs Marjory Winnie. She works in this school for one
day every week, usually on Wednesdays.
The Anti-Bullying Service believes that all young people have the right to be supported to develop positive relationships
with their peers and with adults in their educational setting. Children and young people who are bullied and those who bully
others can be offered support.
In addition to this individual support, the Co-ordinator also carries out:-
- group work;
- staff training (if required);
- peer support, training and supervision;
- assistance with meeting Accreditation standards.
In the past, students from Park View Community School have attended events organised by the ABS, such as 'Happier In School Week' and
'Peer Supporters Day'.
